A former girlfriend of the man suspected of killing two young women in Orlando, Florida, says she knows who shot and killed her two young children in the home where she lives.
In a statement released Tuesday, Monica Nunez says she “know[s] what I am doing,” and “was not there” when her children were killed.
She says she wants justice for her children and that she is “sick and tired of the police hiding behind their guns.”
Nunex, 26, says that the suspect, 26-year-old Antonio Bostrzak, was a “dangerous and unstable” person who used drugs and alcohol.
She also said that she was worried about her children, who she says were abused by Bostrsak.
The statement comes after the suspect was arrested Monday, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
Bostraczak is accused of killing 17-yearold Mariah Linn, who was shot in the back of the head on Friday.

Nuneza says Bostrczak had been living with her for six months.
She has not been charged in connection with the killings.

A woman who lives with Bostragas has also told the Orlando Sun that Bostrazzak had a history of violence and had been hospitalized for mental illness.
BUSTED IN ‘A HORRIBLE CRIME’ The Associated Press has obtained a statement from Monica Nunes, the mother of the two children who were killed in Orlando on Friday, and said that “this was a HORRIBLY HORRIBIC crime.”
She says that she and her family were in the Orlando home when Bostranskak shot and critically injured Linn.
The mother says she has never seen Bostradak in person before.

A mother and daughter are dead after being shot and wounded in their home in Orlando over the weekend.
The victims were killed at their home and were identified as Mariah, 5, and Mariah’s mother, Janina, 4.
They were both shot in their homes by a man wearing a mask, and both died from their injuries.
Police have yet to release any details about the suspect or the motive for the attack.
BOLIVIA, HIDING GUNS Police say the suspect’s brother-in-law was hiding a gun in his car.
Police also say the gun was in the car when the attack happened, which may have prompted them to pull over.
The AP has not confirmed whether the brother-an-law, also named as Zdenek, is a suspect in the killings or whether he has a criminal record.
The FBI is investigating the case.
BORUSSIA, NEW POLICE INVESTIGATION Officials in Russia are investigating a possible connection between two of the three women who were shot and died in the Florida suburb of Kissimmee.
The three women, ages 15 and 19, were shot in separate incidents at a home in Borussia, which is about 20 miles (32 kilometers) southeast of Orlando.
Two of the women were taken to local hospitals.
A neighbor told the Associated Press that two of her neighbors heard gunshots and then saw police officers standing outside the house.
Authorities did not immediately say if the victims were in police custody.
Russia has a history with mass shootings.
In November, two women died in a mass shooting at a shopping mall in Moscow, and last year, two men died in an attack on a nightclub in Dagestan, a predominantly Muslim region in Russia’s north.
In December, two gunmen killed six people at a mall in suburban Orlando.
Authorities say a third gunman killed three more people.
Russia’s Interior Ministry said Monday that it is investigating a report that two men are suspected of planning a mass murder.
Authorities said that one of those men, a 23-year old Russian national, was arrested after he was identified as a suspect.
The suspects had been identified as an Uzbek immigrant who was living in Orlando and a 29-year olds brother, a suspect who is in custody.
